The CTO of GOA would be part of the founding team, and be responsible for leading a team of Technical Developers and Product Owners, to drive a comprehensive online platform development strategy in the MENA region. The CTO will be required to craft an integrated technology and collaborate extensively across GOA various departments to support stock integration, lead generation, and e-commerce revenue.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates experience leading technology teams building large scale projects.
- Develops an integrated technology roadmap such as ERP, online ordering/fulfillment, and integrated analytical and CRM systems
- Create a User Friendly Interface that scale Operations: Collaborates with a broad array of internal departments and clients
- API integration with our brands stock management system
- Data Normalization and Aggregation
- KPI channeling & Optimatization
The CTO is expected to have knowledge, expertise, and experience in many of the following:
- Ecommerce platform and business models
- Software Account Management
- API integration
Experience & Skills Required:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Science, IT or other relevant field (or equivalent) with minimum 4 years of experience in managing software development team.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms
- Project Management: Ability to lead complex projects including planning, staffing, monitoring, change management, QA, escalation management, and ongoing support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team in a matrix organization
- Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java,.NET
- Results oriented, with project completion a key facet & Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines, whilst maintaining quality.
Experience & Skills Desired:
- A passion or experience in ecommerce
- MS or MBA optional
- Experience as CTO optional
